REVIEW: Vixen in Vegas (Sinful #2) by Emma Nichols

Synopsis

It was supposed to be a week of simply being, of living in the moment, and enjoying every minute while it lasted. Of course, that kind of intoxication can have lingering effects. For Sin, she found herself wanting to break all the rules, to extend her time with the stranger who stole her heart. Vegas was just the right kind of place to take such a gamble. Meeting up with BE at the gondolas was a risk. Love went against everything they had promised, but the best things in life can’t be planned.

Soon Alysin will be tested.

After guarding her heart for so long, she finally let a man in and discovered that the worst things in life happened when she least expected them. When she walked in on BE with another woman and overheard their heated conversation, she suddenly remembered there was a reason she made these rules.

Will broken rules lead to broken hearts or will she realize that though love was a gamble, she was all in?

My Thoughts

Vixen in Vegas picks up where Sin at Sea finished. Sin and Jolie are packing up and about to head off to Vegas to meet up with BE. Sin of course freaks out a little, but Jolie calms her nerves.

After Sin and BE are reunited there relationship continues, and it's full steam ahead! BE decides that he wants to renegotiate the terms of their "agreement" and wants them to get to know each other. And they do.

Sin realises that she is breaking all her "rules", and that she has fallen hopelessly in love with BE. Jolie tells her that it is time to settle down, and is there to push Sin in the right direction whenever she has doubts. And Sin does have doubts. Not about her relationship with BE, but about herself. She questions whether she is strong enough to stick at the relationship with BE.

I really enjoy Emma Nichols' writing style. Her words flow flawlessly making it extremely easy to connect with the characters and get drawn into the story. The sex scenes are HOT, but tastefully written.

Vixen in Vegas wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I honestly thought that it would be a lot more "erotic", but I found it to be more romantic. I was very pleasantly surprised!

If you have read Sin at Sea, you definitely need to continue the story and read this. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
